DROS delayed... Again

Wow, that is a first for me. Rarely are people delayed multiple times. Are you getting an approval after delay or are you getting an undetermined on each delay?3 different purchases, and all 3 FFL said they will release after 30. What I don't understand is that I have never been delayed before, and my name is very uncommon. From what I've researched there are 2 other people in the country with my first & last name & neither live in CA. I have had zero run ins with the law in 15+ years but all of a sudden I keep getting delayedYou, you, and you: Panic. The rest of you, come with me.

If that is the case and you flip to undetermined I would have to go against the advice I normally give and recommend doing the live scan. Obviously there is something in the records that's making them cough up a fur ball everytime. They keep bumping into it but because of the 30 day time limit not running the info down and either finding out you are prohibited or finding out you are fine.
The live scan should force the issue. I hate telling people to pay for a scan, but this continued series of delays is ridiculous and unfair to you. You, you, and you: Panic. The rest of you, come with me.

There is nothing in my record that would prohibit me from owning a firearm so if it does come down to having to pay for another live scan, how do I submit it to the DOJ for this particular issue?
Like I said I called today and asked about submitting a live scan to clear this up, but the lady at DOJ was no help, kept saying she can't tell me anything I just have to wait.
I told her I understand you can't tell me WHY I'm being delayed, but how do I submit the live scan? Do I need a live scan for each delay? I already did a live scan to get my COE for FFL 03 a few months back, can I use that? She wouldn't answer any of my questions.Comment

Unfortunately no you will need a new live scan. When you get your letter there should be instructions on how to do the livescan.
I wish I could be more help but in 20+ years of running background checks on people you are the first I have seen to get 3 in a row. You, you, and you: Panic. The rest of you, come with me.

Thanks for the help, I'll just do the live scan. I want to get this straightened out with DOJ. There's no worse feeling than waiting 9 days and getting the call from FFL the day beforeComment

I hear you OP. Keep us up to date on what happens. I hope you get this fixed this time. I'm sure it's beyond frustrating. You, you, and you: Panic. The rest of you, come with me.

When you fill out the form you put "Record Review" as the reason. There is nothing in my record that would prohibit me from owning a firearm so if it does come down to having to pay for another live scan, how do I submit it to the DOJ for this particular issue?

So I submitted a Live Scan to the DOJ on Monday 10/19 for my record review, also did a 2nd Live Scan so I could obtain my criminal background check as well. My background check arrived in the mail today as did my COE that I did for my FFL 03 stating that "there is nothing that would prohibit me from acquiring or possessing a firearm"
Do you guys have any idea how long it should be before these delays on my DROS are lifted?Comment

Delays should be lifted within 30 days. With all of your supporting documentation I would be very surprised to see another delay. You, you, and you: Panic. The rest of you, come with me.

You wasted money on the second one. You get a copy of your record when you do a record review. So I submitted a Live Scan to the DOJ on Monday 10/19 for my record review, also did a 2nd Live Scan so I could obtain my criminal background check as well.
