USPS priority - despite the innuendo of the name and how they advertise is and try to sell it to you - does NOT have a guaranteed delivery time. 1-3 days literally means nothing... nothing... as it is NOT guaranteed. First class can often be just as effective & quick & less cost. I've argued with them about this fact numerous times as I send & receive a lot of packages.
And yes their tracking can lag big time. Even with their recent update to modern live tracking I sometimes get things before they even show up on tracking or while it shows it in another state.
Last if you send by Mail Innovations they use UPS and it is yye slowest known delivery on the planet with the lowest sorting priority - everything gets handeled before this method so it can take 10-12 days no matter how close the package is to you to start.
