                                          If they hold more than 50 rounds, they are illegal and high capacity.

                                          If under 50, then they are standard capacity.

                                                      Wait, I think you're on to something! The law explicitly prohibits manufacturing, importing, trading, selling, and buying "hi cap" mags, but it does NOT say anything about finding them. Loophole!

                                                          I've actually been fishing in the desert. Didn't find any hicaps but I did catch a catfish in the canals in Imperial valley.
