I used to have an early TD imported CZ99 with the walnut grips. Very sturdy, stout guns and you could mod a SIG mag to function pretty easily. The Israelis and South Africans produced them as well.Slovenia was a state in former Yugoslavia. Same as Croatia (XD/XDm/XDs line.) Same as Serbia which is home to the Zastava factory which produces various PAP rifles, but also yet another set of Sig clones (CZ 99/999) which are not all that well known. As a side issue, Zastava produced Yugo too.
Interesting to see it, but nothing to go crazy over.
I read on another forum years ago that they were designed to handle sub gun ammo as a matter of course. I never tried anything hotter than Hirt +p+ though.
