Slovenia was a state in former Yugoslavia. Same as Croatia (XD/XDm/XDs line.) Same as Serbia which is home to the Zastava factory which produces various PAP rifles, but also yet another set of Sig clones (CZ 99/999) which are not all that well known. As a side issue, Zastava produced Yugo too.

It's all too common to have clones all over Europe. Look at CZ pistols. They take a starting design, then make some changes and call it a "new pistol." Come to think of it, all 1911-s are clones of a well-known design.

Interesting to see it, but nothing to go crazy over.
