Last time I took a noob out to ASR (my wife's cousin), I made sure to teach him proper stance, grip, sight picture, breathing, trigger control, etc. Started him off w/ .22's, worked up to 9mm's later on. Guess what? He was outshooting at least half the other guys on the line in short order. While others were just making noise, he was getting solid hits on steel. Couldn't wipe the smile off his face for hours afterwards.

I guess you could say he had fun.

Yes, good question. There seem to be some mysteriously disappearing posts related to the location. Probably a conspiracy by the 909 to keep OC people out

From what the pics looks like they are just out there having fun. they are not shooting for competition or accuracy. Just a day out having fun shooting guns. I admit when i go to range, i try to improve my shooting skills. but out in an open area like that where i go shooting. all those proper grip and stance go away. i just want to shoot for fun.

People post up pics to share with ya their shooting trip, everyone starts criticizing them over their stance and grips. Give em a break. You people are way to serious about everything.

im sure if i post a video of me having fun shooting 2 semi auto shotguns one in each had simultaneously i would get flamed for it.

People need to relax and understand people like to just go out and shoot for fun, and not worry about proper grip and stance.
+1 . Nice photo's ,cool gun's. Don't let the finger pointers discourage you from sharing more.

              Thanks for the replies everyone!
I will definitely be sharing more photos and vids of our shoots.
I have to put this new iMovie to use!
I assume there is not more photo threads here because of all the "finger pointers", but I don't mind a little constructive criticism sometimes
