Show this person how to properly hold and shoot these firearms. She will enjoy shooting them more if she is holding them properly, especially the shotgun which will beat her up shooting it the way she is holding it there.

They will enjoy shooting (and be more proficient) if you show them how to properly grip and shoot a handgun (hint, the grip in the below picture is not correct).

You'd think that the general consensus among shooters shooting out in the boondocks would be to clean all that crap up afterwards, 'or at least clean up after yourself, and not the last man'

I mean seriously, it looks like lytle creek (circa 1995)

On BLM territory, I've never personally seen shells all over the place like that.

Where was this? Kinda looks like Canyon Lake when people used to shoot out there.

I can tell you exactly where that is. I can also tell you that I spent several hours picking up stuff at that spot without making much of dent. No one picks up thier trash.

That area will be closed soon enough due to all the trash left behind.

Looks like Canyone Lake back in the day. I would ride dirtbikes out there and come across spots like that with casings and shells all over the place. You would also find junked cars, refrigerators, washing machines, etc... with bullet holes all over them.

Seconding the posts about teaching folks how to properly use what they are shooting. The ladies' positions and grips are horrible.

And next time bring a couple rakes and trashbags and haul some of that crap out of there.

+1 Good pix but the place is a mess. If you want to continue to shoot there keep it clean. I have seen plenty of areas closed due to this issue. We organize clean up days at the places we go to and we always pack out what we pack in and then some!
