It's not a bad tactic to use the enemy's turf to fight back.
I choose to fight a different way, my vote, and not through FB. Although on one hand, using facebook's platform for a business/group/voice/idea/movement or advertisement (Facebook posts Revenue higher than Expenses!) will help your business grow and reach new markets.
I believe anyone here can "handle" facebook. That's not the issue. Some things are best learned by the individual and for them to choose what life style that they want. I choose to invite people over or speak on the phone or not to be bothered. For me, the content that I put on facebook to share should be mine and mine only, not for Facebook to keep. My first gripe with FB is privacy.
Deleting FB is an accomplishment, whether major or minor, that depends on the individual. Someone with an addictive attitude towards social media that is constantly updating and checking up on FB may find peace and a sense of relief when they delete their FB. Instead of having your children's/friends/family member's eyes and attention looking down on a smart phone because of FB you have real conversations with presence.
You cannot control everything on FB, only what FB wants you to think that you can control. My second gripe with facebook is that it hollows your soul into ego-centered POS, melts your attention span to less than 5 seconds, and strips you of one of your basic human life skills... communication without the internet. No emails, no PMs, no status updates or comments.
Have you tried speaking to someone that constantly checks their phone too much? To me that is a sign of disrespect, lack of presence, and annoying. FB is fake because of the millions of selfies, the ego-centered attitudes, and the nosy FBers that never like or comment on your facebook but when they see you FTF and mention "Oh Hey, I saw pictures of you and so-so hiking which looked amazing and you looked great...blah blah blah" but they did not like it or post to support. This has happened numerous of times, "closet friends". Seriously, can someone have over 500 friends? What do you consider a friend? Will they be there for you?

I agree on all points.
