Any chance it was BATF guys? Boston's Gun Bible has a whole chapter dedicated to the dangers of BATF entrapment and other heavy-handed federal stuff at gun shows. I thought it was just paranoia, but after reading some of the posts above, I'm starting to rethink that opinion.

Is it legal to open carry from the show entrance to your park car?
I'm going back tomorrow and want to be sure its legal if I decide to do it.

My GF was watching my ammo (5K rounds or so), while I ran over to my car so I could load up.

Two young "gentlemen" that looked like new kid on the block rejects made fun of her dog. I'm not sure... was this is an ATF technique to get her to draw her weapon?

At the Glendale Gun Show after we got back to our store to unload what we sold for the day as we were locking up the store my coworker noticed a white suv with pitch black windows drive by slow turn around drive past us again. They did this like 5 times.Couldn't see through the windows at all.The vehicle had a loud exhaust system with like 22" chrome rims.So if see this type of vehicle becareful.Like they say "With desperate times come with desperate measures".Be aware of your surroundings at all times.

Also, don't forget it's illegal to have a gun and the ammunition for it at the same time at a gun show.

No. In fact, you can't even have a gun and ammo for it in your possession at a CA gun show.

After being followed once after leaving a bank years ago, I pretty much run in defense mode while driving after leaving any kind of transaction or highly visible places like that. I do various things that make tailing either very difficult, or simply obvious (unless it's aerial!) if it is happening.

Leaving a gun show, getting into the car at the parking lot, and leaving is a big reason for me to do something like that. I do this at any high profile type of reason where I might be concerned I might be followed.

SUSPICIOUS PEOPLE AT GUN SHOW !!!!!!! Watch your 6 !

Today I went to the Costa Mesa Crossroads Gun Show and was followed to my car by two very suspicious men. They tried to ask me questions about what I had purchased (which was some boxes of ammo) and followed me to my car. I did not get a good feeling about these guys. I told them to stand back and leave me alone because I did not know them and they were making me nervous. One guy then said he had a concealed weapon permit and was carrying a loaded gun. I told him to leave me alone and they finally walked away. When I went back inside to return a cart to the ammo booth they warned me that there were several instances of people being followed and robbed. Even 3 home invasion robberies were reported after the last show up in San Francisco of people being followed home.
Please be careful and watch your 6 out there if you buy anything at the gun shows with value. There are some scary people with bad intentions out there willing to steal from you. If these guys were cops, they sure did not have any manners. I doubt they were.
Please pass this along to any friends that may be going to the shows. Hopefully this message will make you more aware and stop something from happening to you.

Two suspicious guys followed you to your car, with one claiming he was carrying concealed (maybe he had a CCW, maybe not, but the circumstances sure are strange) and no security or police were notified? I would've told security immediately after heading back in and/or called the police myself. Behavior like that shouldn't go unanswered.

Also, A person who ACTUALLY has a legal CCW would most likely never behave in such a manner.
