my dad recently moved from CA to Boise, ID and I spent a week with him up there after helping him move. On Monday he called my mom to tell her that there was a break in and when the cops came they smelled weed and he and my stepmother got arrested. this is the first that I'm hearing of this because for some reason nobody in my family is capable of telling me important things like this in a reasonable amount of time. Anyway, all but one of my guns WERE at his house, and now they aren't. I do not know yet if they were stolen or if the police confiscated them. I will post serial numbers and pictures here in a few minutes, and i want to know what other sites i should post this on and any advice that anyone may have, especially regarding the possibility that they are sitting in Boise PD's evidence locker. my apologies if this is posted in the wrong place. (yes, the obrez in my avitar is also now missing)

Your best bet would be to call the police dept and ask for the arresting officer.Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

Your dad reports a break in and they arrest him for weed? That's f*cked.
Scratch Idaho off my to do list.Idiocity, That state of the mind which cannot perceive and embrace the data presented to it by the senses.

thanks for all the quick responses. im waiting to hear back from my dad as to whether the cops have my guns or not. im going to call meridian pd in a few mins when I find their number. the pics of guns and S/N's are buried in abbout 35,000 pictures on my phone so it might be some time before i can post any. i know there isnt really any chance of anyone on this forum seeing one of them, but you never know and it will make it easier for me to find them if i post on any other forumssigpicComment

Talk to the PD before you post an online archive for the world to view of your previous (and if recovered) or current firearms. I'm sure your panicked and want to get the ball rolling just in case but I have to imagine that it can't take that long, maybe a day or two to confirm they do or don't have custody of the firearms. If it goes beyond that than maybe more forward with the list.
Easy way to find out, call Dad and step mom and ask for a copy of the arrest report number, booking id or anything else that links them in the system to the incident and than contact the PD regarding their visit and any seizures at that time.
