Lots and lots of big mining company property in SBC, a lot of it is safer to shoot and the current drought has really no effect on the conditions, Its a desert.

The place I go to has tons of tailing piles (sand mostly) all over, they make great backstops.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

make sure you dont post your spot on here or tell anyone. the more people that knows about it the sooner and faster BLM rangers will shut that place down.

the spot where i shoot at only 2 or 3 other people know about it. and i have NEVER came across BLM rangers, hell, i dont even think they know about my spot.

It's not that easy though. As I'm sure you're aware, the government would have to get permission to stop from the Nazi moon base commandant who would then have to clear it with the lizard people in the center of the Earth.

If you are in Riverside county anywhere near the I.E. you already know the location...do your self a favor and avoid the ticket.

For the guys that left before me in the late model extra-cab Chevy, you are the reason we loose all or our spots in CA. you slobs! (end rant)
You met Ranger Titus? I was just in contact with him this morning thru email. Were organizing a clean up set for sept.... He's securing us a 40 yard roll off. Hopefully we can get at least 50 volunteers to help fill the bin.

Next time you see someone leaving a lot of trash get their license plate and description of vehicle, and report it to blm. It states that on their website to report litter bugs, how else are they suppose to know.... I know how you feel Ive organized 6-7 clean ups over the last year and it upsets me to see all the trigger trash.

What would getting their license plate do? Don't police need to witness a misdemeanor personally to do an arrest? Is that even a misdemeanor or just an infraction? I suppose you could do a citizens arrest.

Maybe they send them a littering fine.

This is a quote from http://www.blm.gov/ca/st/en/info/new...ire_clean.html

"If you see anyone dumping trash on public lands, we encourage you to write down a license number, a description of the vehicle, the date, time and location, and report this information to the nearest BLM Field Office.*If it is safe to do so, getting a photo of a vehicle involved in the activity is also helpful. Tips from the public greatly increase BLM’s ability to track down violators."

I've also heard first hand from eatdirt, he found a paint label with some of a local stores info at a blm spot where a contractor decided it was his personal dump...took it in and was told he's not any authority so it was handed off to blm and the got the info from the hardware store, and the contractor was fined for his actions.

I would actually go help with the cleanup, but my wife is getting ready to pop out the kid. Last time I went to hodge I took a couple trash bags and it didn't even make a dent. Pretty messed up.

I'd gladly PayPal someone for a good shooting spot I have had a very hard time finding one. I'm not a douche I get leave it cleaner than you found it. it would just be my wife who is working on her masters (she hates shooting indoors) and our 6 year old son who thinks he's an amature geologist
