How often do you clean your guns??

After every trip to the range, each firearm gets cleaned, regardless of number of rounds fired.

All my guns, except my 10/22, get cleaned every time I shoot. The 10/22 gets it every 2-3 times.

My precison rifle only gets cleaned when accuracy drops off, the same with my 22LR, unless I change brands of ammo.

I clean them after every time i take them to the range even though i dislike cleaning guns but that is the cost of owning guns.

I clean my guns every chance I get. I love the smell of Hoppe's #9. In fact, I like it so much, I use Hoppe's #9 as cologne, so you can imagine how often I clean my guns.

If they let me bring guns to work, I'd probably clean them at my desk when I needed to take a break.

My step dad has a SKS that he never cleaned once in about 15 years. I took it one time to clean it and man it took me a couple of hours to do

Carry gun, every night. Not really because it needs it but just because it gets a little dirty, clothing fibers stuck on/in it, and just from rubbing on my skin it gets body oils and sweat.

Usually when I get home from the range if I put more than 300 rounds through one specific gun. However, if I take more than 2 guns out I usually get lazy and just do a very superficial cleaning. Also, every time I go shooting, in anticipation of potential laziness, I run a bore snake through my guns while their barrels are still hot before I leave the range.

I keep my carry guns immaculate. I clean, lube and function check after each shoot.

It's not that hard to do a basic clean and oil. I do believe, however, that one can actually damage a gun by cleaning it too much. Disassemby/assembly is hard on a gun, and one should not put unnecessary wear and tear on any mechanical device. I've seen M-16's that were literally ruined by cleaning too much. The military has an obsession with cleaning weapons that is counter-productive.
