Hey all, to wrap this thread up, I contacted Raddlock and they saod they did jave a batch of defective devices that had springs with a bur that sometimes made it difficult to remove. Whether that was the issue or me just installing it too tight, I ended up drilling the Raddlock off and Raddlock sent me a brand new replacement.

Hats off to them for great customer service! Will keep recommending them. Rare enough you find a company that actually stands behind their product. Thanks to everyone who chimed in!
