NBC Bay Area @ 11:00 PM

Just saw a glance of a segment they'll be airing at 11 on NBC in the Bay Area.

There was no sound but I just saw a 10/30 magazine being handled and a handgun.

    Prepare your anus.

I caught a partial news clip on KTVU 2. Seems like San Francisco is proposing stricter gun control. This time they want to control ammo. Specifically who buys it and tracking. The stock footage shows a fairly large gun store with rows of AR15s in the middle aisles with many people handling. Obviously this isn't a real shot of the only gun store in San Francisco.

Hmm... I'll have to watch. I live in SF so it's relevant to my puckering.

They've tried regulating the sale of ammo in the past. Unsuccessfully.

According to source, regulations would include: Video recording in store where ammo is stored and sold, signed signature by purchaser, address, ID, etc. info sent to police department.

"we want to video tape and record people purchasing guns and handling guns in all the gun stores to deter illegal behavior"

THE ONLY PEOPLE BUYING IN A GUN STORE ARE 99.99% LEGIT PEOPLE. FFS THIS CITY IS RETARDED.

Gun stores should have security cameras anyways. It's the info wanted for ammo that bothers me.

Big5 already seems to take the info down. My buddy needed ammo before we hit the range and Big5 wanted his name, address, photo copy of his license, signature, AND thumbprint.

needless to say, i will never buy ammo there.

Makes perfect sense after that young lady was killed by an illegal alien using a gun stolen from a government employee. </sarcasm>

Big 5 in sf city limits doesn't sell ammo or guns. At least the one on sloat doesn't. It's a totally useless grand standing nothing legislation that affects one store in the city. It will change absolutely nothing for legally abiding residents of the city.

Looks like time to walk into a Big 5 and get some ammo. Then refuse to give them any info, and if stopped from purchasing, kindly inform them that it is illegal to gather that information and threaten lawsuit.

That's not how laws work. There is either a law stating that it's illegal, or there isn't(except in the circumstance of a law stating everything is illegal but listing exemptions). You claimed it's illegal, explain why that is the case.

Marin county? They have a county ordinance with those same rules.
