    UPS stinks

Anybody else have non-stop drama with UPS? jeeeeeez
My house address is FRICKIN HUGE! giant numbers.. right in front, on the gate and the house.
UPS tracking says they delivered my box yesterday at 12:30 pm. We were all here at that time and saw no truck and no one knocked on the door.

Now get to wait 8 working days to find out that i'm screwed

That's why I signed up for UPS My Choice. I go pickup my package now from the UPS hub.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.

When I lived in LA UPS was a disaster. Then again, so were a lot of things. UPS at my current address is as good as it gets. I know the driver & have decent security with gates etc, he'll leave stuff if I ask him.

FedEx & USPS are decent unless I need to go there. I never thought I'd like UPS, but here I do.
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!

I'm lucky because my Fedex guy and ups guy both know my address well from ammo shipments to everyday online deals. Only had one instance around Xmas time where a big package from brownells was out for delivery 3 days in a row until I contacted them and it showed up the next day but I figured they were overloaded with deliveries. Usps sucks in my area ill pay the extra money to not use them. Lost two packages or delivered to wrong house.

I have the occasional hick up with all of them - typically packages that say delivered (once it even said it was signed for) but nowhere to be found. So I have no clue if they are driver screw ups or stolen.

Luckily this has only happened with major retailers so I don't have much trouble getting refunds or replacements. Always send with insurance now and hopefully I never have to use it.

I pay for a box in a UPS store. It's very convenient, and I've never lost a package.

I haven't really had issues with UPS except that they are expensive, except one time I sold a camera lens on eBay for my dad valued at over $700 and it turned up "lost" somewhere in the Midwest. Luckily I had purchased insurance, so I was refunded once they determined it was indeed lost. I'm sure some former UPS employee is enjoying a nice camera lens for the low low price of "I stole it."

Is it possible to have your packages sent to your job?

I get packages from USPS, UPS, and sometimes Fed Ex and they always come inside and either I sign for it or one of my employees we are a small business so no worry if some a-hole at the company stealing it.

Since I get so many packages and we are open 7 days a week it makes it easier to get them without problems at work, and not worrying if someone stole if off my door step when I'm not home.

Only time I ever had a problem was the non regular USPS driver delivered my 150 dollar glasses imported from Japan, 3 doors down which is like almost 2 blocks from my job.

Saw that it showed delivered and called my job but no package with the mail. Called my local Post Office and I explained the situation and asked where it was delivered. They gave me the address a freaking Nissan Dealership right before my job. Called them up and they checked oh we have your package. Drove right down was able to recite the name and other info on it, flashed my ID too and got my glasses. Man I would have been so pissed if I didn't get them. How in the hell did they get the address number so wrong when it even had my cell number on it just in case of a deliver problem.

I've been pretty lucky with UPS. (knocks on wood)

Received my chest rig the other day (signature required). I tipped the UPS guy a ice cold semi slush strawberry lemonade Gatorade. He was happy as shiz.

Luckily my complete upper came in one piece.... but last week I had a fit with them.

Ordered Sennheiser 598 and package was delivered AND signed off by my name BUT I wasn't the person who signed off on it. I was home at the time of "delivery" as well. I got a replacement, but this time they just dropped it off in front of my door.... thankfully no one took it.
