I clean often, since I do it after each range trip, and I'm almost through my third 8oz bottle in a year. The gallon would last me 3-4 years, assuming it's still good.

Cant speak for the cleaner, but use the Lube on all my guns. When I was in Iraq in 06 one of the guys on our advisor team tried to run a rounds to failure test would not clean his M-4 after firefights, he would just relube with MPro-7. Now we were getting into gunfights about every other day during this time, He was trying to see approximately how long till he would get a stoppage. He finally cleaned his rifle after about a month and a half, not because he had a stoppage, but just due to the fact that the bolt was nasty as hell. That sold me on MPro-7

Well a normal patrol was 2 American Marines and 15-20 Iraq soldiers. If he had had a stoppage all he would have needed to do was tap rack bang. The only person he was putting at risk was himself.

mpro 7 is an excellent cleaner. You can dilute it with water and run in in your ultrasonic cleaner and it does a great job. It also removes carbon residue better that any other cleaner I have used. It does not do a great job on cleaning stubborn lead from barrels IMHO but will clean just about everything else. $50 bucks is a steal. Buy it!

Yes, it's a decent general purpose cleaner(removing carbon and random gunk) that doesn't get the house smelling nasty if you need to use it indoors.

M Pro 7 is GTG! Is it the best out there? Don't really know. It does a good job though. 5 Gallons would last me a decade probably. But at $50, that sounds like a deal. Or find a buddy and split it.

^^This. My brother was over there and his unit made the local Iraqis walk ahead of them because they would leave there finger on trigger and hit the trigger shooting at are guys. Then screaming sorry.

My brother is a Glock armorer responsible for his an other agency guns. He wont use anything other than MPro-7.
