    So how is m-pro 7?

I've got my eye on a 5 gallon bucket of the cleaner for $50, but I've never used it before. Is it good stuff? Would you buy it at that price?

I only use mpro7 cleaner and it's good stuff. Just be sure to lube it after because I believe it's water based.

I only use Mpro7 cleaner too. I got the large 32 oz spray bottle and its lasted me a very long time. Great cleaner.

Heard the oil is great too. I bought some of the oil but switched to Weaponshield for lube.

My standard cleaning starts with M-Pro 7, then onto Safariland CLP and finally to Hoppe's Gun Oil. I used to just start with the CLP but I found that M-Pro 7 removed shooting gunk so much more quickly. Good stuff.

Good stuff. Scrub down with the cleaner, blow off with compressed air and then lube.

The stuff works pretty good and is supposedly non-toxic. No complaints from me.

The cleaner is not water-based, but contains a non-toxic solvent base with additional surfactants, solvents, chelating agents and strong corrosion inhibitors.

For me 5 gal. is over kill and might last me 10 years. Do you really need that much? Why not start out with 1 gal or less and go from there.

Cant speak for the cleaner, but use the Lube on all my guns. When I was in Iraq in 06 one of the guys on our advisor team tried to run a rounds to failure test would not clean his M-4 after firefights, he would just relube with MPro-7. Now we were getting into gunfights about every other day during this time, He was trying to see approximately how long till he would get a stoppage. He finally cleaned his rifle after about a month and a half, not because he had a stoppage, but just due to the fact that the bolt was nasty as hell. That sold me on MPro-7

5 gallon for $50? Damn, that is cheap. I bought 1 gallon via Amazon for a little over $50. Get it and then portion it out and sell it on the marketplace for cheap. I read that it goes bad if stored too long?

That was my worry that it might go bad somehow. This 5 gallons is from late 2014

I use both the cleaner and lube and couldn't be happier with how well both work. The best thing about the cleaner is that it has no odor. I can now sit at the kitchen table and clean my guns without the wife complaining about the smell.
