Another gem is when Al depicted a Kel-Tec PLR-16 as something that troops in Iraq commonly used (the expert in the voice-over mentions how it shares caliber with the M-16, which no doubt caused Roker's confusion).

Yep I saw it.
I like Al Roker and this snipit will be the first of numerous to follow "guns are bad" investigative reports based in urban areas with street crimes. Notice he went to "Chicago (the pres's home turf) and NewYork and New Orleans. It will be an urban vote cs rural vote all over again and yes they will ratchet up the rhetoric. It will be assault weapons and high cap mags in the hands of street roaming gang members propped up by illegal gun dealers and the 2nd amendment supporters.
I could care less about urban losers killing each other over drugs. The crime is there because the residents allow it. I really enjoyed the Professor's stats about gun crime too
. This stuff drives me nuts but it is what the Dems will push. It will be a wedge issue for them pitting urban/liberal/ against suburban/rural/conservatives. It's a standard playbook move from them.
