Traveling with CCW

Traveling with family to coast for a couple days. I like carrying on the trip, but not able to in some of the locations we go. Can I leave it locked up in the hotel room wrapped around something very solid. We will not have housekeeping service while we are there.

Don't see why not. Every CCWer should own a small safe. Something like a Nano with the cable.

Hotels actually get broken into often.


I wouldn't trust it. And even if you don't request maid services, you really think a crooked one will just not come in if they want to jack stuff?

I'm sure you'll be fine, but i personally would be paranoid the whole day thinking "what if" and probably wouldn't have a good time.

Holiday Inn's normally have safes in the room, you can also leave it in the hotel safe if you trust it... I don't.

Bring a cardboard cut out of a naked person bending over and leave it propped up against the bed.

Maid service will never clean that room again!!!

I'm curious as to where you are going, I'm assuming in CA, where you can't carry...

I can see maybe the beach would be awkward.
