It's a shame you aren't making a compact shot timer with easily accessible controls instead.

    What about:
    BulletScore
RoundScore (perfect name for a shot timer... you're welcome)
    Shot Tab
    ShotComp (ooo SEO name)

Anyway, I think this product is fake, even if not, it wont sell.

I've previously asked if people counted their rounds, consensus was no and I'm an idiot wasting my time.

Oh well, I count my rounds by empty boxes of ammo or empty shells I collect, don't need no expensive tool limited to a pic rail.

        Money tracker (especially with .22lr)
Yea, maybe it should read out in $$$ instead of rounds.
Neat idea. What is the projected MSRP?

pair this up to display what is in a magazine (probably measured by how far the follower is pressed) and I would want one... I would even pay extra per mag for that if it works. make it run on AA's or solar like those solar red dots and I would buy two of them. I hate having to find uncommon batteries and I love it when electronics don't constantly need them. My old calculator has dead batteries in it but that tiny solar panel on it collects enough power even indoors to run calculations all day long.

Is this what a Shot Bot looks like?

Will it cost less than 100 bucks and interface with a PC?

What do you mean by shot timer? Something that keeps tabs of how much time has elapsed between each shot?

Also, our bullet counter performs two functions: it counts up so you can keep track of total rounds fired, and it counts down from a number set by the user (the default is 30) on a display so that you have a visual representation of how much ammo is left in your magazine.

Even though what you're describing with the follower is the most accurate way to know how many rounds are in a magazine, we avoided that with our design because we don't have a way of mass manufacturing magazines. Also, our shot counter is going to have a battery built-in and will be rechargeable with the same micro usb cable most people use to charge their phones.

That's a pretty neat device, I haven't seen it before. Our shot counter serves a slightly different purpose. It won't connect to a smartphone and we're going to try and sell it for $120.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, keep 'em coming!

built-in rechargeable batteries are good too if they are long lasting and replaceable. What type is going into it, how long is it expected to last and can it be replaced if it goes flat?

I was working on a similar device for knives called The Stabulator, but it never caught on.

Do you guys have any suggestions for a name we can use for the device?

Well looking at it I take it, it mounts to a pictany rail and then you have a pictany rail on your device for the mounting of optics. So much for good check weld.
Also what looks like 3 buttons on top could be hard to get to when you have mounted optics.
