I love Big 5 Sporting goods

Popped into one to check out any deals on the Mossbergs.

The guy helping was nice and had his interests too, thats cool and good to know they have an interest, but my goodness research before talking HAHA

as I'm checking out the Mossy he got into talking home defense and said for those he Recommends these!

As he Slapped 12G Sabot Slugs on the table...

I just chuckled a bit and said, "Think those are for rifled barrels only, those are sabot slugs"

He starts reading the box and in hear his reading "rifled barrels only"

Lord I hope he hasn't sold those to anyone new to shottys.

I also commented if in an apartment or close neighbors I don't think they want slugs sailing into their home.

As for any deals, the Tacticool Moss500 was $369
Got my Utah CCW, Thanks JimAmentler!

Does anyone know where the term shotty came from?

I can't see my Ithaca 37 as anything but a shotgun...

            AIRSOFTERS and MALL NINJAS!

BTW, I've never had a problem with sabotted slugs in a smoothbore at <100'.

I should stick to scattergun? trust me I'd not say shotty in real life, can take my remaining nut if so.

As for sabot slugs in a smoothbore I always heard it as a no no, aw well, I wont start a debate, if they work then guess it works =P

I dunno if this is where it came from, but I know it sure is common amongst the video game crowd.

When I hear “shotty” I think souped up defensive shotgun.

And a rear spoiler that can double as a picnic table.
