I actually did live at an indoor range I operated for a time. It had a room in the back and a full bathroom so it was OK. Was kind of funny because how many people can say they have done it on a waterbed at shooting range haha.

I think at the now closed San Gabriel Valley Gun Club that someone actually did live there I heard he killed himself soon after the range was forced to be closed by the city.

I lived less than a mile from a range for a couple years.

I could basically walk to a range in my area yet I rarely go to it.

Like anything, it would probably get old quick.

Having a personal range on the property, that's something entirely different.

I hung out at a range while my friend worked at one in the city and the one on base for a while. Just going 2-3 times a week got old for me.

the weekend came and as usual we were off to the range for a fun day of shooting and as we came around the pond at the range we both said this is the place to live. Jokingly..... Or not! we started laughing at how we would fall asleep to the noise of the range and the smell of gun powder lol.

Hope i'm not the only one who dreams of shooting even whale at work all day long.

man i cant wait for saturday!!
                Home, home on the range?

I'd rather be where I'm at right now. Then again, I do have my own pistol bay, 100 meter rifle range and a place to throw clays.

Love living on our range. Only rules we have to follow are the gun safety rules. Rapid fire, any target, two handed, its all good...................wouldn't trade it for nothing.

One thing that concerned me a bit was lead exposure. I was there all day working then sleeping there a lot as well. It wasn't like I was sleeping in the shooting lanes but still. I even ate there a lot we had a kitchen as well. Stupidly I never got lead tested in those days.

Just being able to plink whenever you want to must be nice, rather than driving 40 miles to the nearest outdoor range -_-

I would love to have a range on my property. (and a Bass Pond)

I would hate living on a public range.
