I heard the show majorly sucked. 3rd building has not been filled in ages. I'm sure there was quite a few non gun related vendors. The day that greedy Utah gun show promoter crew makes admission at Ventura $8 will be the day hell freezes over.

Thank you for the kind words. Shows need your support, or else vendors will not come back. That powder guy sure is great, and handsome too.
Don't expect the Third Building to ever come back. The foot traffic just never worked out there; getting placed out there was a death sentence. The promoter will be filling the plaza between the two main halls, and there were about about 8 vendors out there this weekend.
22LR ammo at ALL shows is still dominated by the local Wallmart flippers. Every show has a different local guy that has tons, at horrible prices. Feel free to follow him out to his car and teach him some manners. j/kComment

The only way to crush the Walmart flippers/neck beards is for the ammo companies to crank up production. But I don't think they care to, they are like oil companies. Everything they produce is already sold months in advance. If someone wanted to make some money, roundup some venture capitol and open an ammo factory. The margins might not be there but I bet the other ammo companies would buy you out to cap any competition, ala Walmart/Microsoft.Comment

Mostly blew I bet the 3rd building never comes back. I found enough obscure brass and ammo deals to keep me happy but I'm sure many left disappointed. I only saw like 100 people in line around 8:45. I did not see a single good gun deal that I remember. One guy was selling vintage porn paperback books and Penthouse forum magazines.
I'm sure the Mormon promoters of the show would love that. Orange Coast auctions was there displaying and selling a few things I'm sure Lock, Stock and Barrel would not like that as they have a monopoly in that area. I actually stayed at show 3+ hours usually I can get done in 1-1 1/2 hours at most it is that small and sucky. I bypass all the junk, Beanie Babies, beef jerky, pillows and such which makes that easy.
I don't even usually bother to look at the new gun vendors I know I can beat the prices with internet and I don't need crap nonfunctional or overpriced mags from the cretin that runs the main magazine selling tables.Comment

Crossroads call their Ventura show "The Big One" and has a banner that says if it isn't a Crossroads gun show it isn't a gun show. Uh OK. Like Knob Creek and National Gun Day aren't better shows. Also I don't know why any show at this venue has security wanting to paw through your backpack on way in like I could have guns concealed on me anyhow.
Only show I've ever seen this at. Also I saw a guy walking around in Hells Angels support gear according to the fairgrounds you can't wear anything gang related on their property perhaps they only enforce that during the actual fair.Comment

I was both surprised and excited to see that my $700 CMP Garand is now worth $1400, lol"Better to remain silent, and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." -- Mark TwainComment

The 3rd building won't come back because there is not enough vendors to fill it. Crossroads is there to make money if there was enough demand to have tables for a 3rd building it would be open.Thank you for the kind words.
