Why would you say generally not trade rifle for handgun?

No good reason. I just see rifles as more valuable. Both in cash value and ability.

*There are exceptions. I traded a Tula SKS for a Springfield Operator. That was more of a "bro" deal though. I was more than happy to make that deal.

Trade if you have more 45ACP rounds. No trade if you have a lot more 7.62x39 ammo on hand.
