    Camera ≠ face

Also, not all cameras require the face of the operator to be behind them either. Even without a rotating LCD, the LCDs on phones, gopros, etc. have decent enough viewing angles that you can easily hold it in front of you at an angle and still see what you're filming if it's tilted on a stand.

    These are old:

    These are modern:

If you've had a youtube username since highschool, I would have thought you'd be aware of that.

you can tell by where his hands are in relation to the camera .he uses both hands to handle the firearm so it's mounted to something . It's either on his glasses or hat . Maybe even holding it in his mouth .

      Tolerate
allow the existence, occurrence, or practice of (something that one does not necessarily like or agree with) without interference.

Anyone else find it sad that those who preach tolerance CAN'T allow the existence, occurrence, or practice of (something that they do not necessarily like or agree with) without interference.

        Really? His mouth?

If it's mounted to his glasses or hat, then he must be one of the most stable individuals on the planet to have so little movement if you watch the grass at the edge of the screen. Also, if it's attached to his shirt or hat and he manages to stand so still, then why does it seem like he bumps a tripod with his arm while inserting the magazine at the 25s mark?

Now he certainly does seem to like keeping his fingers around the muzzle, but they're his fingers, not yours or mine.

This sure is an awful lot of talking he manages to do while holding a camera still in his mouth, unless for some weird reason he dubbed in the voiceover while preserving the audio from the initial filming itself(including the mic picking up him tweaking the zoom of the camera)

So we can assume he has a tripod(or he manages to hold his head mounted cam still for an awfully long time), or we can make a silly assumption like he holds the camera with his mouth.

Here's my stance on "gun is always loaded":

You treat every gun as if it is loaded...until you have personally verified that it is not.

If I treated my XDs like it was always loaded, I'd have to use a clearing barrel to take it down to clean it since I have to pull the trigger to release the slide.

That being said, he sure does like to finger the muzzle a lot even when it is loaded and ready to rock.

My wife is a photographer... I have a lot of pictures of me holding different firearms pointed at the camera. I can ensure you that I never pointed a firearm at my wife...

How did we manage to get pictures like that you ask....it's easy, magic!

I agree that the camera is in fact very still . Looks like it's on a tripod or something . The video still gives the impression that he points it at his face . That is never good to see or have it implied .

Further more . I already won , stop trying to take my prize , haha

It's not "implied" at all unless you're so ignorant that tripods are a mystery to you(which may be the case considering you suggested he was holding the camera with his mouth).

Screw you bud . Yeah cus the first thing I think of when the guy points a gun in the way he did . He is likely using a fandangled tripod . Like the the rules say always assume the best and all will be well . You can tell you've been a calgunner for a while . Just to damn full of your self .

I assume people are intelligent enough to use a tripod, you assume people point loaded guns toward their own face. Yeah I must definitely be full of myself for not assuming someone was an idiot, since a "fandangled" tripod can run a whopping $30, that's far out of the reach of the common man

no no you misunderstood . You're full of your self because even after I agreed with you that he was using a tripod and basically said I was wrong . You kept beating that dead horse .

As for what his actions implied . Do me a favor , take a remote , pencil or any gun sized object and hold it in your hands just in front of you about belly or chest height . Tell me that does not look exactly like the view you see in the videos . Sure you can get to a place where you think he may have been using a tripod but IMO that's not the first thing a reasonable person thinks . The intent was clearly to make the video look like you your self was looking at the firearm . So no my first thought was not that he had his arms around a tripod to give us the look as if we were handling the firearm are self . It looks and will continue to look like he points it at his face .

Except since I was watching a video, I would assume there might be something to hold up the camera since he has both hands visible.
Sure you can get to a place where you think he may have been using a tripod but IMO that's not the first thing a reasonable person thinks .
It is if you realize that tripods are cheap, and an easy way to hold up a camera while you're recording a video, like the tens of thousands of other similar videos on youtube.

Sure, and to take such a video, you use a tripod... or in your case assume he rammed the camera into his mouth. What you've apparently failed to notice, is filming that way also allows a close up view of the item being handled, without your arms ending up in the way(filming from the side) or having to handle it backwards(camera facing the person handling the item), and allows you to use a non distracting background(camera autofocus can be a PITA sometimes.

Video cameras, tripods, and youtube are not new. Thousands of people upload similar videos to youtube for everything from unboxing the latest iphone to handling firearms. Maybe if this were 2005 and such things were still unusual, but it's 2015 and this is commonplace now.

Again, YOU are the one assuming that someone is stupid enough to be pointing a loaded gun at their face instead of the far more logical conclusion that doesn't rely on the person holding a video camera in their mouth.
