    I have a Safariland for my 1911. Got it well used from a buddy who had it in Afghanistan.
    It keeps your belt secure and stable. I like it and makes for an easy draw. It can be cumbersome compared to a belt holster.
    As far as value? Depends if you're just trying to get rid of it or making maximum $$. If I sell something, I usually put it up for 40-60% of new value. depending on condition.

      I see them all over ebay for $50.. like new in box... they sell around here (Camp Pendleton) for less.

          I paid $25 for a new-in-box one and that was for the rarer 1911 version. My friend paid $25 for the Beretta version and got a mag pouch with it as well.
