    How much is this worth?

Looking to sell my BLACKHAWK Right Leg Drop Holster. Fits a 9mm Beretta. It is brown. It is used, but in pretty good condition. In the East Bay Area, CA.

THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE THREAD, just trying to get a valuation, I have no idea what to ask for it, going to list it on craigslist.

"It is currently CA legal to modify a double-action revolver into a single-action revolver and modify a single-action revolver into a double-action revolver.

CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.
^It does not apply to revolvers, manually operated repeating pistols, and semi-auto pistols." ~~ Quiet

Why don't you just do a search for similar holsters on Ebay, Gunbroker, GunAuction.com (Auction Arms), GunsAmerica, etc. ???

You'll likely find hundreds of listings.

I have, and the prices go from really low, to really high..... It's all over the map. I want to know what the real marketplace is going for.

Well that's probably from Used to new, and you should do a search of Completed auctions of those similar to condition of yours - not open auctions, for actual pricing. (You have to log into these sites to do the Completed search.)

That's the best way to figure the going market price; actual completed sales.

There is no such thing as "real marketplace." People will pay what they think it's worth. You can start high, then work your way down. You can start low and feel bad if it sells quickly. Then again, you might not care about $20-$30 difference and you can just be happy it's out of your way.

I think even that is high.

Drop leg holsters are useless unless you are driving around a lot or totally stationary but then again so are lots of other holster types. Long distance walks (patrols) are very uncomfortable with them from what Ive heard from my buddies in the Infantry.

But they do look cool and unique and turn mall ninjas on which is probably the only reason they still exist

Military gets issued them. You see them selling throughout our community for about 50 bucks at most. Hiking with them sucks if you don't adjust them right but I've done quite a few days and miles with one on my leg without a problem. Longest hike I did with one I think has been 12 miles with full battle rattle.

Maybe you should ask this uber driver if he wants to buy your holster.

If you don't need/want it anymore, put it on Ebay and start it low (like $10). If is has more market value you should see it bid up a bit. Remember Ebay takes 10% of your sale.
