That is the default reality, correct?
I suppose there could be stuff like Earnest Money, like if you want to met in person to do a $1000 deal (and see gun in person first) then you pony up $100 to hold it for a week.
But I feel your pain about Welchers. WTF is the point. Welching on bet has a profit motive, but not Welching on purchase. Reminds me of when I worked at a supermarket and certain repeat offenders would come through with a crap load in their cart (always mostly dumb stuff, low class high cost/low food value semi-junk food) and then not have money for about 1/2 of it and want a big social work cession picking and choosing what they are gonna keep with others waiting.
PS-Shouldn't we be more Politically Correct and find another term for "welching"? How do the Jews feel about the people saying "They jewed me out of $5 at the bank" or how do the Gypsies feel about people saying "That was a gyp".
