There can be slight issues with this though.
If you have a light recoil spring a have a full power striker spring your trigger pull can actually pull the slide out of battery. Make sure that this doesn't happen after the spring switch.
The recoil spring is holding the slide in battery. Your trigger pull is basically taking the striker spring from 90% cocked to 100%. When it pulls on the striker, it is pulling on the entire slide. If the recoil spring is too weak to hold the slide in place, the gun gets pulled out of battery. Best case scenario is that your gun wont fire, worst case (with a modified glock this is more likely to happen) your gun fires out of battery and bad things happen.
