Just make sure to have a nice layer of oil on them (I spray mine with RemOil every few months), and DONT touch any steel parts unless you plan to clean and oil it again. Also have some sort of dehumidifier.

I purchased some nitrile gloves for when I handle my firearms without bringing them to the range. I made the mistake of handling a few of my guns one night (it happened to be raining), and the very next day everything I had handled was covered in rust. Learned a few lessons from that experience.
The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

I have some guns that get shot more than others---I think we all do---at least once a year, I try to handle each gun and give it a coat of BreakFree CLP---no rust for decades!
