eta Either buy a bunch of primer pickup tubes or break down and buy the auto-filler. Loading primer tubes manually is tedious as all hell but keeping the primer system fed is the biggest drag on your production rate. Before I bought the auto filler, I would spend the evening before reloading night flipping primers and filling tubes. That way I could focus on reloading the next night and not have to muck about with primers.
Ha! My dad used to have me do that when I was a little kid. I was a very serious, meticulous little boy and I LOVED helping my dad. Lots of good memories for me of sitting on the floor loading primer tubes, etc while he talked and taught me everything I wanted to know about the world. Even more precious now that he's gone.
As soon as I buy a house, I'm gonna set up his old Dillon, Rcbs, and Lee stuff, and get back on it. I'll probably have to go through it pretty well since it hasn't been used since about 1990! New belt for the Rock Chucker, etc. Maybe fresh springs.

One thing I can say for Dillon is that their customer service is LEGENDARY.

Should I buy a single for riffle rounds?

            Online ? Brian Enos http://www.brianenos.com/store/home.html

I have a Square Deal for pistol. I load mostly one caliber, 9x19 , but have a conversion for 45 ACP. Change overs are easy.

I load 223 & 243 on a Redding single stage but I rarely load more than 100 of them at a time so it works. I like having a single stage press.

            I have owned a Super1050, a SL900 and a 550B. All good machines.
Anyone press will hear the fat lady sing.
