Woah there devil dog. That police helichopper is your friend, no need to shoot at it. No matter how annoying that bright light is

You really think you'll have time to open the safe and load a weapon with an armed intruder in the house? Can't be too hard to keep a weapon where a almost 3 year old can't get to it. I have to say I don't agree with keeping it condition 1 all the time though, only takes a sec to rack the slide.

Is that based on your own insecurities? Lack of training? Or ?

What if you don't have that second....

Look you guys, because we have guns, we have to be safe with them. We can't live like everyday we are going to have someone break in so we sleep with a gun under our pillows. When you got kids in your home, regardless of where you keep it, it is always best to be safe. I have a loaded mag behind a frame on a shelf on the wall in my room, and the handgun is hidden too. I can get to them in about 5 seconds from my bed and have the gun ready in about a second once I have mag and gun. It may take a little longer, but at least I have piece of mind that my too smart for his own age son won't find it and do something that I will regret

I also found out from another cal gunner that they were looking for an attempted murder suspect from a month ago that was hiding out in my complex.
