Well I had to (actually still am) go condition 1 tonight. There is currently a LA Sheriffs heli flying overhead who keeps shining his spotlight on my and my neighbors patios. Joy!

I have a 2 yr old (ok, almost 3) at home, no need to make careless mistakes like leaving a weapon with one in the pipe. Even though he wouldn't likely find my guns in the safe, I still rather just air on the side of caution. It takes me all of 1 second to snap a mag in and rack a round

just giving you a hard time. i would only carry condition 1 on my person not leaving it around i don;t care how safe it is, even if you don't have kids around the chances of bad guy braking into said room with the gun and taking it or if you keep it in your safe.. i mean it dose take a while to get at even if its a "quick" safe. i thought we all knew about having loaded gun laying around the house? and in a safe well good luck geting that bad boy in a pinch. and having to run to your quick safe even if you have one in everyroom. come on really?Comment
