Interesting story. If mere gun ownership is her litmus test for her friends, then I'd just as soon not have people like her as a friend.

While I agree that no innocent child should lose their life, the odds (about 1 out of 15,000) should'nt place this on the top of her list.

I wonder if she asks her "potential friends" about abuse, drugs, alcohol, etc.

Until you realize how many of those could be some 17 year old gangbanger with years of criminal behavior who died in a gangland shootout

Exactly, as most of the "kids" killed each year are in fact gangbangers and many of the anti's so-called statistics on "kids" deaths actually include people as old as 21.
