a friend of mine is going threw a nasty break up with his girlfriend and had is oll taken by the police. what happened is, he woke up this morning and headed towards starbucks when he got stopped by the gang unit. the officer told him they had a search warrant for his car and house and they hooked him up and took him back to his house. once they got there they searched his whole house( wich he lives with his mom by the way). they didn't find anything and they asked to open the safe where he had a couple of handguns and 2 rifles. the officer seen a stack of cash and took that along with some vicoden wich he had a prescription for. the officer asked what was in a bag that was in the back of the safe, my buddy said that it was a rifle that was taken apart. they took it all out and it was a romy kit along with a nodak receiver and a 30 round mag. so all together they took a grand in cash , 150 vicoden pills and his oll stuff. it turns out his ex told the police that he was selling vicoden and had lots of cash in his safe. he told me it took him about a year to save the money and he needed the vicoden for his back because he is on dissability for a work accident. well now he has to go to court to get his stuff back and is sweating bullets ( no pun intended ) for the off list receiver and parts kit. i told him he will be fine and to relax but inside im a little nervous for him.

Not so. My wife would get regular 60 pill Vicodin prescriptions, and her sister-in-law still gets regular 90-180 Vicodin prescriptions. It all depends on the doctor and how much pain people are in. Just because some chick is pissed at her ex doesn't mean she's right.

From my own experience "it's you and me against the world" can turn into "it's none of your business who I'm f######" in the drop of a hat. A friend of mine said "women will always be smarter than men, but they have absolutely no concept of playing fair."

I'm really sorry for your friend. Hope he comes through this relatively unscathed.

Actually, nowadays, you can get 3 months worth prescriptions for meds for a discount, via mail. You pay for 2 months worth, and get the 3rd month free. So you can get alot up front.

I have had 5 surgeries on three joints (knee and both shoulders). Two MVA (1-motorcycle and one head-on two SUVs) and broken wrist twice. I rarely take my meds as they NEVER make the pain go away. Through all of that never did it amount to 150 of anything (Oxycondone, Vicodin, Darvocet).

I would really wonder why anyone would have that many pain pills in their possession.

When my chic had my son, she was prescribed Vicodins, that didnt work for her. Then they prescribed Darvocet, that didnt work. Then Oxycondone, that didnt work. Then they gave her Perkaset, THAT WORKED! So she has been prescribed 120 pills in about 2 days. She only took 1 of each when she got them, and 2 perkasets. Now were stuck with allll the left overs!
