While I agree, you have to understand that some gun owners are just hobbyists, they don't devote all their free time to keeping current with all the gun news. Doesn't make him a bad guy, just means he's got other things going on.

Well see, I'm can see that, and I understand there are those types in the world - and that is just fine and dandy until the complaining starts and things like "I love the Republik Of Kalifornia!" get said.

It's only becomes a "Republik" if you do nothing, handing it to them on a platter. Disgust over a missed opportunity out of ignorance is plausible, naive discovery is another thing, but to put a cherry on top of apathy by then complaining about something long after it has been a well-discussed issue, is lousy.

No excuse for that.
