Good Storage Location for Firearm and accessories in Nevada?

Any of you can recommend a good place to store firearms and their accessories in Nevada?

I'm visiting Nevada for work purposes more often now and I figured I'd like to buy and store some stuff there that isn't CA legal when I hit the Nevada ranges. I know I can't buy firearms there, but I'd like to store a rifle there and take the BB out. I'd also like to purchase some things like hi-cap mags while over there and store them there. And store some ammo out there.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Near Las Vegas would be nice, but isn't a requirement. I've heard Front Sight offers storage, but their website doesn't mention anything. I know some FFLs offer storage. Any recommended FFLs?

(Mods: I didn't know which section to put this in, so I figured here would be good. Apologies if not.)

I just figured it would be a Public Storage type deal where you rent a closet sized deal.

Public Storage is probable the least secure place on the planet.

No storage at Front Sight. One of the many promises for certain members that hasn't materialized yet. If it ever does happen it won't be for the general public.

There's a lot of desert out there. Bring a shovel, GPS, chunk of carpet and something to wrap them in. Dig a hole, place wrapped items in hole, cover with carpet then cover with dirt. Retrieval will be quick and easy.

Unfortunately, I don't have that kind of connection in Neveda. Maybe as I spend more time in Neveda, that will be become a long term possibility. But I'm looking for storage I can get in the short term.

                      Storage place.

Have everything in a safe, covered so no one sees what it is your bringing in, floor of safe predrilled. Use cordless hammer drill and secure it to the floor.

Simple security alarm with cell phone. Tap into timed lighting power.

plywood false wall with boxes of old clothes piled high in front of it.

had a buddy forced to store his toys for a year. Everything above is repairable. Other than the small amount of power he "used" for alarm.

Safety deposit box. Many folks do this to keep their NFA or non-Cali legal stuff out of California.

In fact, in regards to NFA... BATFE recommends you store your items in a safety deposit box within the LEGAL state.

I don't think a storage unit would be that big of a deal depending upon what you put in there. All the magazines you could want could easily be put in a plain moving box and would not look tempting to thieves. Likewise, an AR-15 lower in a gym bag wouldn't attract attention. As long as you were careful to be innocuous when putting items in and out of the storage unit, nobody would be the wiser. Who would break into a storage unit for boxes of old household goods and gym clothes?

                            You beat me too it.

Might cost a pretty penny to get one big enough to hold a couple of lowers and uppers though. But you could get one that would hold plenty of standard cap mags, a few other accessories and maybe some ammo for $100-150 bucks a year, maybe less. The ammo storage depending on the rules of the bank.

And honestly, how difficult is it to swap out the bullet button for a standard release and swap it back before you come home. Of course you have to remember to do the re-swap, and I'm not sure but if you rifle wasn't registered before you left the state, when you return you may be required to register it. Of course IANAL, and I'm not gonna look up the pertinent PC (if any) because it doesn't affect me.

                            Good luck.
                            Sorry, not sorry.
