Don't know what to do..... Glock or ammo

    What's up guys and gals?
I've been wanting to buy a Glock 17/19 for a while now. But I know i should practice and train with what I have. At the moment I own hk45c, colt 1911, sig 229 9mm and ruger gp100. I kinda think a glock would round out my collection nicely. What do you guys think? A Glock or some ammo/training?

    Thanks

Did you rent a Glock 17/19 yet? I would start off there, IMHO they are reliable as a Toyota, they are also as exciting to shoot as one.

Your Sig is better than the Glock. Buy ammo.

your collection is already rounded it out nicely.

I think you should get ammo and I would do that in your shoes and I like Glocks.

            (especially the model 26. ^^)

I'd buy $600.00 worth of ammo to shoot in the 1911 before spending it on a Glock.

You already have better pistols. If you want to round out your collection get another revolver like a Blackhawk convertible, either 9mm/357 or 45acp/45Colt

Or I'll trade you some Ammo and a frontsight membership for your sig

Sounds like it's a budget decision .. new gun or ammo & training.

Buy lots of ammo & some training! You'll eventually find one of your guns you don't 'love' then sell it and buy your glock. If you don't find one you don't care for you might not need a new one.

Add a few bucks and get a Dillon 550B reloading machine.

You do have a nice collection. That being said everyone needs one gun they can use without too much regard for keeping it super nice. And a gun you can fix cheaply when you need to. Glocks are good in this regard and are good for new shooters to use especially if you improve the trigger and replace the weird sights. And if you like it then you can make a pretty nice shooter out of it. Ammo prices are good right now but it doesn't sound like they are going to be going up in the near term so if you find a deal on a Glock maybe now is the time!
