Early signs of rising COVID in California as new FLiRT subvariants dominate

California may be headed to an earlier-than-normal start to the summer COVID-19 season, with coronavirus concentrations in sewage rising in some areas along with the statewide positive-test rate.

The problem is that I know several individuals in care homes who will be... 'pressured' or 'tricked'... into getting the 'new' vaccine so that the home(s) can check a box and claim they've done their due diligence.

I said it early on... I was waiting to see if they actually came out with a true vaccine or if it would become like the flu shots, especially as it is a close relative of the viruses which cause the flue. I guess we have our answer...

To my eye, that appears to be what the industry believed mRNA technology would provide, but too many 'traditional barriers' got in the way. Now, they are moving forward with it, despite the left-handed 'acknowledgement' that continued R&D is still necessary.

As we've talked about, too much smoke and mirrors where what is being pushed out there is reliant upon the very things they still criticize and chastise for with regard to 'home remedies' and 'homeopathic treatments.'

I actually see a slightly more sinister approach, and not just tin foil hat stuff.

The mRNA vaccine research was stopped long ago as a sort of side story to the regular vaccines, and since they were more available, less research went into it. My personal belief is that you always have to follow the money and once the problem (the pandemic) was formally labelled as such, lotsa good green was funneled into it. But anytime you funnel money into a solution for a huge issue, results are expected and as you point out, there were too many red tape things in the way...plus, the military doesn't care about anything, so it became a great way to get it into the system in a hurry and with an emergency order, everything was bypassed...ie human trials. We became the human trials.

Again...follow the money. There were tons of reported adverse reactions, but many were ignored, and since money came in to help with care, there was a huge incentive to "misreport" any ER visit as a COVID injury/death.

So...money. For a year, everyone had to get tested all the time. My work required me to test every week for nearly a year. Lotsa money in those little test kits, that BTW, still are around.

The administration can't possibly afford to backtrack now and call it a "flu virus" because they'd have enough egg on their face to make a breath taking omelet. They can't support home remedies, because that will make everyone right and them wrong, and it will stop the money from flowing. I have my own method for dealing with a COVID infection (I've had it twice) and it costs me about $5 for the OJ, 2 showers, Ibuprofen and 1 day's worth of bedrest. It's worked EVERY TIME I've ever gotten the flu and both times I caught COVID.
