    Any co-morbidities ?

I have a couple so my doctor put me on Paxlovid and my symptoms went from mild to zero in less than 36 hrs. No idea what they would have been but my wife who gave me the beast didn't take it and was a wreck for about 10 days.

Knowing what a viral infection can do to other systems in your body, I'd opt for the anti-viral if I could get it.

c, d and zinc. also ivermectin if you can get some, but that is most effective early on.

It's hard to trust 'traditional' sources these days.

You guys may not realize it, but many feel more comfortable requesting info from like-minded.

Enough have been through it, to warrant the inquiry.

Information isn't a bad thing... making informed decisions is a good thing. I didn't see anyone professing to be a physician... just responses from personal experience and/or research - and these days that 'can be' more valuable than the status quo (WHO, CDC guideline type treatment).

Just my .02 (as someone who had it brutally bad a couple yrs ago).

Yeah I'm also covid positive and was incredibly mild compared to the first time I caught it. 🙃 I'm sorry I'm on day 4 and I'm running errands even bought a gun today. I'm just wearing a mask and always spraying my hands with rubbing alcohol. I had people give me dirty looks for the mask but oh well, I got the rona but it's really nothing to worry about this time around. Just mask up and go about your business

Almost all my kids, my wife and I got something. We don?t bother to test for it, it?s all treated the same. Wife and I were the last to fall after taking care of all of the kids. A couple never got it.

Wife has congestion and a cough, I just have headaches. It?s almost gone for me after about 4 days.

I went to Walgreens to get some stuff for my neighbors who are in their 60s and have confirmed Covid because they tested. I won?t be fully social until Saturday. Might pick up a gun or two.

If your immune system is fine, IMO treat it like cold/flu. While still out there, it's mutated to a far less damaging form for most people.

I had it in March 2020 and was a test case for worst case; old, no prophylactic measures, no treatment, only typical cold/flu care.

Overall it was far less worse personally than H3N2 that I had in '68. Far less. Fever lower, no lung involvement, far fewer outward symptoms. Main difference was loss of taste and smell for a number of months, long after other symptoms had resolved.

Since I'm not around people anymore, I don't pay attention to that stuff. I always suspected fomites in the past because some iterations were contracted not being around people for weeks on end. As time/iterations went by, symptoms were fewer and loss of taste/smell lesser until not at all.

I used three tools to keep track of things, a thermometer, blood pressure cuff and pulse oximeter. Normal stuff out of the medical kit.

Evidently old Russians are hard to kill. Stalin managed to kill plenty though.

You need to spread it around as much as possible. That's the only way to get rid of it! Check out the local gay bars and you'll be fine in the morning.

I can't believe people are still testing for this garbage. It's the flu, it always was.

                          Yes.

                          Plus:
                          - Plenty to drink: water, gatorade, tea
                          - Chicken soup
                          - Ibuprofen (or whatever)
                          - Rest

It's kind of like the flu.

How about stay home when sick. Especially when contagious.

We all know 'the mask' doesn't do chit.

Now, asking a Dr. for medicine, is like as a drug dealer if they have a new fix.
