So I tested positive for COVID

For those of you who have dealt with this, what meds should I ask my doctor for? What can I take on my own?

What can I do to ensure I get rid of this bug as quickly as possible?!

        Sorry I had to.
Bummer you caught the bug. I’ve had it and managed to fight it off without any special meds. Just don’t let it settle into your lungs

          Ever had a cold before?

That's how you deal with it.

Why did you test? Had you not know, would you have treated it any differently?

Quick question, how in earth can you test positive for COVID-19 when they don?t even have a test that can determine if it?s the flu or Covid?

God gave you an immune system so stop falling for what TV says Cove it has nothing to worry about at all. The only thing you need to worry about is taking up poisonous substance that they called a vaccine

Maybe some hot tea with lemon? If it gets worse, maybe Theraflu?

But again, I come from a time long-long ago (pre-2020) where people often got sick in the winter (and sometimes in the other seasons too) and just dealt with it.

I do appreciate it when someone seeks medical advice on a gun forum, though.

                      Solid choice.

2 Aleve and my temperature is gone. Body aches gone and it's just the respiratory crap for another week or so. I didn't lose my sense of smell but it wasn't as acute as earlier.

                        Thanks China

This reminds me of those Japanese soldiers that were still fighting WWII on the Pacific islands in the early 1960s.

If it gets bad, fever over 101, trouble breathing, fatigue, chills, headache, etc. get started on the Paxlovid. My sister had it pretty bad in December. Got started on the Paxlovid on day two after testing positive, and was much better by day 3 and 4. You can just call your doctor, tell them you tested positive and have someone go pick up the prescription.

It does cause a horrible aftertaste, metallic and bitter, but it does work. It also is helpful with preventing "Long Covid". My sister works in the health field research side and swears by it.
