not only was there pressure to take it, as mentioned, but all consequences of taking it were covered up and lied about, and still are.

if you have a choice between losing your job and taking something that's just a harmless prick in your arm, that's different than having the full knowledge that it's a poison death shot.

without that information it's pretty close to being forced.
