    The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) voluntarily recalled a PCR test they'd been using. The recall was not because the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test was inaccurate.


    So if they combined all of the tests and there is only one indicator, then that test would, be design, not differentiate between covid and flu. Thats apparently what they wanted, not some inability of the test to tell them apart.
