I turned down a job I was thinking of taking in 'Frisco when he said "...and all our employees are fully vaxxed!" like that was some good point.

Of course I told him I was OF COURSE Vaxxed, but that leaving my car in downtown 'Frisco even in parking garage was a dealbreaker and also too much crime on BART for a 250lb construction worker to have to deal with, given Bay Area politics. He got all pissy with "thx for wasting my time". Word is they are looking for new workers because of Vaxx mandate quitter/refusnicks.

But my issue with parking was legit. I'd only park in 'Frisco if its a set-aside lot for "the crew". Buddy had his window broken and stuff taken and insurance covered window but he said bum musta been covered in feces and that isn't covered and car still stinks after $300 deluxe cleaning and it was the "family car".

Work for the phone company. We are a fed contractor, Management was forced the Vax and union associates were giving a dead line of Feb 2nd. Most bent over but myself and a few others held out and company dropped it eventually. I believe the company is dropping all covid policies on Sept 2nd and business as usual after.

Where are all the lawsuits to shut down this clear violation of myriad human rights? Nuremberg 2.0 and some public hangings are way past due.

Has to do with money and chances of success. There are a couple suits in flight, hopefully there will be more.

Too many were not willing to touch with a 10 foot pole until a precedent was set. Once there are a couple big wins, look for more.

Still waiting for 10-15 years down the road and you have one of those class action lawsuit ad on TV. "Have you or a loved one had an injury or lost their job due to the jab?"

Fortunately it was never required where I work. I work in a very conservative area, so I'm sure that helped. If it had been mandated, I was prepared to get terminated for refusing it, but I most certainly would have followed up with a lawsuit. I hope every single person who was fired for not getting the jab files a lawsuit against their employer, and I hope every single employer has to pay a boatload. A message needs to be sent, they played their hand, and now it's time to pay the price for their wrongdoing. Pain is the only thing some people understand.

This. I have never had trouble sleeping or anxiety before the mandates. Even on the Army (never in combat), running a large department for a large company, etc. Like you, nothing ever seemed as wrong as these shots. I was exhausted from the fight and trying to get others to just do research.

I gained respect for a few people and lost a ton for many others. I watched people outspoken and loud spout off about how they would never take these experimental gene therapy shots fold like a cheap suit and many even became enforcers for the mandates and started berating those with the balls to fight.

My intuition told me NEVER take this crap. I was prepared to lose my job, move or do what ever I had to. For the first time in my life, I felt stress, some anxiety I guess it was and fear, not nearly enough to make me cave but it was unpleasant.

These bastards need to pay!!! Everyone from the leaders, to the facilitators, to the supporters, to the ones who didn't have the integrity to speak the truth when they saw the injury, injustice and lies.

I've never lied about my status. Considered it but more likely to get dismissed for that lie.

Just worked a lot on my wording and redirecting conversations (ask them about their experience with the bad, are they getting a booster, then would reply my friend has a bad experience etc). Everyone assumed I was vaxxed. Only 1 person asked if I was vaxxed when I came back after getting it, and I told her no.

Prior to getting it if anyone asked me directly aying"are you vaxxed" I'd reply "who isn't?!" (me .. lol)

It was the court of appeal made a decision they upheld the federal contracts injunction but only for the few states which sued and only for the few plaintiff companies.

At work they pushed it, even making it a requirement at some positions and locations. Every so often they would put out update bulletins making it seem like required vaccination for all was coming, the end is nye. Upper management treated us like ignorant conspiracy theorist for not submitting, constantly making snide remarks or stupid claims like "I have yet to hear one good reason not to get vaccinated."

I was not giving in. I was ready to get fired, I've done manual labor before and I'll do it again. If illegals can live here for several decades without ever having to worry about getting caught, I could do the same with covid vaccine BS. Most of my colleagues submitted, I want to say that maybe 25% stuck it out. About a month and a half ago they finally gave up and dropped vaccine requirements at all facilities and removed it from job postings. This was a company located in a red state by the way.

Curious to know how it's going for the rest of you. Especially those in the highly politicized tech industry.
Yup. We had a brief scare back when it started. We are a big company with lots of government contracts and such so they tell us the company didn't have a choice. The bosses were visibly extremely pissed about the whole thing. Hardly anyone is vaxed here (we are involved in the manufacture of that poison so everyone knows better).

I think about 10 minutes after the Supreme Court made their decision we got an email that said F all that stuff you don't have to do it.
