    Did You Survive The Mandates?

It appears the vaccine mandate bull**** is behind us.

At work they pushed it, even making it a requirement at some positions and locations. Every so often they would put out update bulletins making it seem like required vaccination for all was coming, the end is nye. Upper management treated us like ignorant conspiracy theorist for not submitting, constantly making snide remarks or stupid claims like "I have yet to hear one good reason not to get vaccinated."

I was not giving in. I was ready to get fired, I've done manual labor before and I'll do it again. If illegals can live here for several decades without ever having to worry about getting caught, I could do the same with covid vaccine BS. Most of my colleagues submitted, I want to say that maybe 25% stuck it out. About a month and a half ago they finally gave up and dropped vaccine requirements at all facilities and removed it from job postings. This was a company located in a red state by the way.

Curious to know how it's going for the rest of you. Especially those in the highly politicized tech industry.

Being retired I was glad I did not mandate it.

            It's not over:
            - Foreign travelers to the USA must still be vaxxed
            - Hospitals still require vax for workers
            - Military vax mandate
            - Many school/university vax mandates

Being retired made it easier for me and my wife to insulate ourselves from the herd mentality and hysteria that overtook peoples minds in these past two years. Even at my age, the risk of mortality from the original strain of covid was merely a fraction of a percent; not enough to sway me to embark on a journey of injecting a highly experimental and poorly studied gene therapy into my body.

As best as I can tell, only about 21% of the U.S. population declined the experimental gene therapy. I feel sorry for those who experienced intense pressure and threats from their employers or others to comply. We've heard their painful stories here and elsewhere.

With excess mortality climbing through the roof, athletes dropping dead midfield and a growing list of vaccine related injuries, I fee bad for those who felt they had no choice and gave in. There are lessons to be learned here. Follow the herd at your own peril.

I think there is more drama yet to come. Stay vigilant.

People say it’s over…. Maybe for them but,

                It is NOT!

NOT over for those of us that still are subjected to mandates.

The COVID tyranny is still here

My workplace had mandates for the vax, and also added one for the flu vaccine. I've never gotten one, because as a healthy adult I never saw the need. I've maybe been sick 5 or 6 times in my life. First they accepted philosophical objections, then recanted and demanded either a religious or medical exemption. I filed a religious exemption for both, but still had to get tested every 72 hours to keep working.

After seeing everyone I work with get covid 2-3 times even if they were vaxxed, and I still never got it, my mind was made up. Been working on my exit strategy from my job, to start my own company and work for myself. I won't be put into a position again where someone can take away my livelihood if I don't want an experimental shot.

OSHA has dropped the BS. Here in California CDPH has not for healthcare folks.

No. Started my own business. Now, making twice as much and ten times happier. Not that my old gid was bad, I just get to do stuff I like instead of "busy work" half the time.

I run my own biz so mandates from work weren't in my face.
                        With that said.....

Anyone who had a workplace mandate and stuck it out through all that crap is a Patriot who deserves much respect.

AFAIK just about every Govt job still requires it, except of course for the jobs that Mandate it for the rest of us like Judges and elected officials.

Many private employers that brush up against either any level of "public sector" or even private "public venues" such as Concert Security require it.

Poly Sci and "human nature" wise, these things are seen as a boon by HR types and increases their power and budget. Recently overheard a couple women lawyers talking about how employers need to error on side of caution and basically do every barely legal thing they can to coerce employees to get Vaxxed.

Alex Jones says the Dems are pivoting to blaming Trump for the Vaxx, because its no longer possible to cover up that its both useless but also harmful. That will be interesting to see, but IMO will be possible. Fauci will soon be beyond grasp of GOP Congress (who will be once again useless anyway) so he will be fully free to say anything, as he does. Trump seems unable to "in before" and say he was hornswoggled, due to over-inflated ego mind trap.

Was jokingly mocked by my boss becuase I would not submit- but that's his personality so I fully expected it. We were never forced, nor thankfully threatened. But I'd guess 90% or more got the jab in our plant with over 200 employees. My wife did not submit either to her school system and still has to test weekly. (This part is 100% about money allocated for covid and has nothing to do with actually being worried about transmission) My son got a religious exemption for college. My daughter submitted....I was willing to leave if I had it forced on me. We also did not shut down or work from home or miss a day of work (except when I got covid and stayed off for the 5 days)
