Me too. Every day. Every time I drive, I see mask freakers driving alone with masks on. It's insane. And in stores it's 90% masked. When I see a fellow brave person who dared to remove their sheep mask, I am always sure to give them a nice smile!

I went to a financial business to sign some papers. They refused me entrance without a mask. I pointed out that the mask mandate was over.

They felt it was a good policy and would voluntarily continue it in their business. I explained it showed poor understanding and judgement. I told them it puts by business with them at risk. They seemed surprised.

What have we come to? We seem to be living "Idiocracy".

We've been dealing with this kind of thing our whole lives, why does a little mask bother you now?

Went to Costco today (got a membership for my b-day!) in Danville. 90% of the people in there will still wearing masks it was crazy.

Yeah - but most of those folks are Asian. They were wearing masks long before COVID.

OF course they can. IF I am to trust them with my money then they need to demonstrate to me that they are intelligent and informed. IF they demonstrate they they are neither of those things and are pandering to the crazy people, I will take my business elsewhere.

It is not personal. However, it is amazing to me that so many people are plain stupid.

I don't care if I am spreading diseases. I am not spreading ebola. It's the sniffles. We have immune systems. The world is full of viruses and dangerous things. To what extent should I go to protect others?

Should I never drive a car because I might crash into someone? Life carries risk. The sniffles pose little risk. I am not talking about covid, even though I believe it is just the sniffles, I am talking about going to the store when I have a cough or cold or flu. I have no obligation to stay home if I have a stuffy nose. If people are that scared of the sniffles then they should never leave their homes. I am not going to stay home.

This is just a suggestion because I think they're acting out of fear (which is sometimes caused by the lack of knowledge) but maybe we should ask these businesses and business owners to do some of their own research.
I'm pretty sure even the CDC website explains the limitations of masks.
Try to explain it in a way that it might not have been clear in the past but the data is in and the "science" has been updated, just like science always is, always was and always will be.

If they believed the line "Trust the science" they need to realize science changes.

Some businesses profit a lot from COVID and DO NOT want it to be safe to return to normal. My Brother in Law's Company has all their employees working at home and have sub let all their office space saving them about a Million a year in rent alone. Plus they save on utilities, office furniture etc., etc..

The Doctors who own the business send out memo's almost daily telling the employees how deadly COVID still is.

They are saving millions, you really think they care about losing our business??

personally I won't even shop somewhere that has self check out instead of people.

My opinion is that masks do a good job keeping Covid transmission to a minimum. Not a silver bullet, But not nothing either.

For example, when our whole family had covid, i was the only driver who felt like they could function and took a couple trips to the grocery store. I masked up in my N95 as a courtesy to others.

Not sure how you came by your opinion, but it's not based in fact. N95 might at best filter <30%, and that's being generous. And that doesn't cover proper protocol like fitting and disposal, etc. Without proper discipline even N95 gives zero protection.

And the 'protection' it offers is really close to zero. Much like the evolution of 'the vaccine protects you' became 'you won't get severe illness" (Hi Kneel Cavooto), we see a similar evolution with masks from saying it protects you, to being honest about zero protection, to shifting to the N95, which essentially offers zero protection from viral illness, but it's a desperate attempt by those who wish to keep their control to convince a gullible public that 'this time we got it right' and it's not true.

This reminds me of the "learned helplessness" experiment. People have been conditioned to believe the mask protects them even though the authorities knew this was a fairy tale all along. Now they, the health authorities, are telling the cattle it's ok to take off the masks (even admitting they are useless) yet they still want to continue wearing them. Hahaha. These people have literally applied behavior control techniques they learned from animal experiments on humans, on a mass scale. This is just never going to end, and will likely get worse.

Staying home when you're sick was the most basic of all of the instructions given - but clearly, you were too busy to listen. You should be "mission to sun".

This illustrates the real intention of the mask protection propaganda. Never in US history has the idea that you might spread an illness prevented the INDIVIDUAL decision of whether or not you go to work or do other necessary activities. Everyone in this forum has at some point in the past been at work with the person who clearly should have stayed home, and then didn't give it another thought.

What you are missing here is what part of the purpose of releasing the CCP bioweapon was: To condition Americans (and the globe for that matter) to act on behalf of the collective, a key tenant of Marxism/socialism. This is why you were lied to for 2 years about masks, the conditioning away from personal responsibility and independence that's the hallmark of America, to the idea that if you don't follow orders you are doing harm to someone else by spreading disease.

You seem unaware that this parallels what happened to the Jews in Germany, the dehumanization of an entire class of people, and you are more than happy to follow in their footsteps because dear leader told you to. Conservatives have been dehumanized for years now for not bowing to the government or collective power, bitter clingers, deplorables, Neanderthals, etc, etc, and here you clearly agree with that dehumanization so much so that you openly participate.
