This is HUGE actually, must be driving the chicoms and socialist here in the US crazy!
    1. Compared to what?
    2. At what cost?
    3. What hard evidence do you have?

Since the beginning I said everyone's gonna eventually be exposed. Protect those most vulnerable as well as we can and go on about life. Evaluate/develop therapeutics.

Instead, some put sick people with the aged.

          1st....dupe.

2nd....endemic means covid is here to stay and no longer a pandemic, with all the mandates, but something that we need to learn to live with.

We are seeing covid mutating into a more viral, but less virulent form.

I think they are endings restrictions a bit too quickly, but it all comes down to geography really. Whereas London has seen the wave fully past, where I live the wave is still in progress. My daughters school was shutdown this week because of a lack of available staff. Really think 'Plan B' as it was called should have carried on another 2 to 3 weeks to give the West Midlands and Southwest a chance to clear properly.

Based on 2021, I would say this is probably the end of restrictions until next winter. Personally, I'm hopeful we are shifting to the endemic stage but that means not having anymore major waves in terms of deaths. We won't probably know until looking in the rear view mirror from 2023.
Everyone on Calguns keeps talking about TDS. I never knew we had so many fish keepers!

The TDS on my 10gallon tanks 110ppm
The TDS on my 29 gallon tank is 150ppm (due to substrate)

Should never have had restrictions in the first place.... What do you mean too quickly?

They can suggest and recommend things, they can't mandate this crap.

The word 'endemic' is interesting, even CNN is using it now. Watch for this to get rolled out on every media outlet in the coming weeks. Then they'll memory-hole all the stuff they ever said before and pretend the mandates and forced vaccines achieved victory

So you bought into the propaganda? The restrictions shouldn't have been there in the first place - perhaps a few recommendations as we get every Flu season, but that's it. C19 is harmless to most people, only the Elderly/Sick/Obese have any real concern (and they should be watchful for even the Flu since they already have one foot in the grave.)

There should be absolutely no restrictions and mandates. Fauci et al will never declare endemic until we get a GOP Congress and later POTUS

Should have treated it like the flu. No masks, shutdowns, restrictions, jabs, none of it.

Heres the deal. Almost 8 billion people on the planet, there will always be a new variants and new mutations. It was never going to be stopped, never. It being stopped ended when it escaped China. You'll be hearing about it the rest of your life. But we know who will be at risk in the future, it will be those with comorbidities who get COVID. Better treatments will lessen who dies from COVID + comorbidities.

Omicron propaganda? No. There has been alot of fearmonger since late November and I fully agree there was an overreaction.

I'm just looking at it as a maths equation. Omicron was spreading so quickly that it literally took out something like 80% of school staff here in the last week. Having a brief circuit breaker isn't a bad thing in that sense. The issue is just that London's wave was about 3 to 4 weeks ago where as this is the week for our area.

I guess your counter argument is just let the virus, itself, shut things down for a week through absenteeism? I suppose its one in the same.

Abortion is endemic. This plague is becoming as such. So the thinning of the herd is working both ends of the population issue. One is elective the other selective.
