I completely agree. Being a capitalist, I would lease the base from Hawaii in exchange for protection and a handsome payment. Still cheaper than keeping it in the union.

I figured someone would bring that up. California does not restrict an individual from entering, but they do restrict what agricultural products may come in.

Offhand I don't know the scenic routes that bypasses all of the CDFA inspection stations, but I know and enjoy a few of them.
