My mom is supposed to be flying here next week for Thanksgiving. She told me she got the 3rd booster shot and asked if I got my shot yet or my kids... I told her hell no. Now I don't even want her to come, She's the typical liberal CA state worker, She mentioned all her coworkers and friends got their children vaccinated now and feel all safe.

I swear she's gonna try to brainwash my kids here, I'm not sure what to do. I already crossed my sister out of my life due to her being vaccine crazy...

I had plov party in my home for fellow Calguners. I felt absolutely safe with all who attended and I strongly believe there was not single vaccinated person and I really didn’t and do not care!

How old are your kids?
Perhaps if they are old enough to understand, could be a teachable moment for them.
They needs to learn about how people view the world differently, and to have compassion for the mentally ill.

Make them sign a contract before they enter no vaccine or politics, just dinner, failure to comply with result in a backup plan such as a Hotel, this is your life and your family. If they disown you then they ain't family, at least till they wake up.

i'm not vaxed and family members who are vaxed was visited by beer flu. i even talked to them in close distance without mask before they knew they were infected (couple of months ago). and here i am still alive and standing with no beer flu.
