    OSHA suspends mandate

Good, good. Next stop: elimination of federal mandate, and then barring private businesses from enforcing their own.

be clear, they are "stopping" because the court order is in place which says they must. They have NOT pulled back from wanting to. The lawsuits will get heard and how the courts rule in the end, will determine whether this continues.

No Fs given. If the court says it's ok then we're out and we're ok with that. We got covid before the Vax and now we have to get the Vax? Lol.
If they find it not lawful then cool. Either way we're counting on politics to win and Biden will get his way.
I can't wait for people to be pissed that they can't get help and complain that they have to get boosters. I just have no Fs to give anymore.

The mandate was put out on a friday, and the appeals court not only came in on a saturday, they issued their temporary stay. To them it couldn't wait until monday. If that doesn't tell you how they will rule, I don't know what will.

The courts seem to have jumped on the private business mandate fairly quickly why has there not been this level of alacrity on the federal mandate?

                    Litigation is good.

A mandate with a liability shield is total B.S.

Well, yes and no. The 5th Circuit issued the Stay. But because of the multitude of suits brought in multiple Circuits, all the suits are being consolidated into one court case, and the 6th Circuit is going to be the one actually hearing the case. So - different judges. While the 6th is considered "right-leaning", technically the 3 judges selected could be all 3 lefty judges. Who aren't required to follow the same logic or decision as the 5th did when placing the stay. It's unlikely the 6th will drop the stay, but they will hear the case in full now. I think no matter how they rule though, it'll get bumped to the SC next.

So can someone confirm this has nothing to do with federal contractor mandate? Who is the enforcer of the federal mandate? OSHA?

Guess they see how many private companies are mandating without a fed mandate.

Those companies where the employees themselves want an internal company mandate. Even several in red states. The sheeple are driving private mandates.

I believe, though, much less in deep red states. No mandates in my wife's job.

Doesn't seem to affect federal contractors is what I'm seeing. Just private companies without .GOV federal contracts. Then again - didn't DC circuit hold up mandate for .MIL a few weeks back?

This is probably their unofficial statement, we are OSHA and we do not accept blame or want to be related to the downfall of science and the world, please refer back to Biden and his crappy mandates.
